Typing a sixteen-digit membership number off the back of a plastic card is nobody's idea of a good time. So we built the fastest path we could think of: take a photo, and let the app do the reading.
How it works
- Tap ＋ Add card.
- Choose Add from photo and point the camera at the card — usually the back, where the barcode and number live.
- ONEWallet reads the barcode or QR, the digits, and recognizes the brand, then fills the new card in for you.
- Glance over it, fix anything that looks off, and save.
Getting a clean read
The scan is only as good as the photo. A few seconds of care pays off:
- Lay the card on a flat, non-glossy surface.
- Fill the frame with the card and keep it square to the camera.
- Avoid glare — angle away from direct light so the laminate doesn't reflect.
If the number reads but the brand doesn't, just pick the brand yourself and keep the rest.
Already have a screenshot?
You don't even need the physical card. If a shop emailed you a barcode or you screenshotted a membership code, add it from your gallery the same way — ONEWallet detects the code inside the image.
Your data stays yours. Once a card is saved, it lives on your device. There's no account required to start, and nothing about your cards is shared with the store.
